The home at 603 North Water Street is an excellent example of an Italianate victorian residence. The home was built in 1875 for Major James Davidson, a Civil War Veteran who helped organize the fifth New York Cavalry and became a prominent figure in the Wisconsin lumbering and merchandising business. Let the innkeepers take you back in more detail of why this is one of Wisconsin's most historic homes.
