Using the Novell Webaccess Email

 

Go to http://internal.spartan.org/gw/webacc

 

 

Enter your login and password, then click Login to get your email.

 

 

Your messages will be listed in the right pane, click on one to open it. 

Once opened there will be a list of choices along the top:

 

Close, Reply, Forward, Move, Read Later, Next, Previous, Delete and Print

 

Close - Closes the email and directs you back to your Inbox.

Reply - Opens a new message box to sender. You can also use the drop down arrow and reply to all recipients.

Forward - Allows you to forward the message onto someone else.

Move - Allows you to move the message to another folder in your mailbox.

Read Later - Marks the message as unread and directs you back to your Inbox.

Next/Previous - Takes you to the next or previous message in your mailbox.

Delete - Deletes the message.

Print - Prints the message.

 

 

In your Groupwise Inbox, you will see three icons along the top on the right side of the page:

ü      Clicking on the first icon will bring up Groupwise Help files.

ü      The second icon will bring up an Options menu, and from here you can change your password. 

Click on the password tab.  Enter your old password, then a new password, then enter the new password again in the confirm box.  Click on Save.  The page will refresh back to the password change screen, but if you look along the bottom it will say "Password saved".  You can click on Close to go back to the Inbox. 

ü      The third icon logs you out of the Groupwise WebAccess.

 

 

Above your mailbox, there will be four icons:

ü      Clicking on the first icon opens a new Compose Message box. Type in an address in the To: box, fill in the Subject box, fill in your message and click on Send. 

ü      The second icon brings up the Address Book. 

You can choose the address book you want to search by clicking on the drop down arrow under Address Book.   Choose the address book you want by clicking once on it.   Choose your search criteria and enter your search term, then click on Search Address Book.  It will bring up the list of addresses in alphabetical order. If you enter part of the person's name in the begins with box, it will bring up any matches to that name.

ü      The third icon brings up a Proxy box.

ü      The fourth icon is to manage folders, from here you are able to add, delete, share and rearrange your folders.
