Downloading and installing OpenOffice.org 2.0

This is a 74.9 MB download, so it will take a long time to download , especially if you have a dial up connection.


Go to :  http://www.openoffice.org

Click on the green box - Download Openoffice.org 2.0
Click in the drop down box by Select your language and scroll down to English
Click in the drop down box by Select your operating system and scroll down to Windows
Click in the drop down box by Select your download site and scroll down to one of the USA sites
Click on Continue to download
Click on Save
In the Save in box, find the folder on your hard drive where you want the file saved

Click on Open
Click on Next
Click on Unpack
Click on Next
Click on I accept.....
Click in the circle by Anyone who uses this computer (Windows 98 users will not get this option)
Click Next
Click Complete
If you want OpenOffice to automatically be the default program for Office files, place a check beside each box for Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Click Next
Click Install
Click Finish
