SKYWARD: Editing Class Lists

 

 

Use the following path:

 

Student Mngmnt > Office > Current Scheduling > By Class

 

 

The Current Scheduling by Class page will open. 

 

To choose the class you wish to edit, click the  button.

 

 

Highlight the section you wish to change by clicking on it.  Click the  button.

 

 

This will pull up the specific class information. 

 

There are three sections of this page. 

 

This first section is the Class Meets information. This displays the class information: the teacher, room number, meeting days of the week. 

 

The second section is the Class List information.  This is the list of students that are currently enrolled in the class.

 

The third section is the Available Student List.  This is the list of students that are entered into Skyward.

 

 

 

To add a student to a class list:

 

Be sure to choose Active Only from the “Display CY Student Status” drop down menu.  This will narrow down your list to only actively enrolled students.

 

Highlight the student you wish to add in the Available Student List.  Click .

 

 

The student will then appear in the class list (the middle window).

 

 

To remove a student from a class list:

 

Highlight the student to be removed in the Class List section.

 

Click the  button. 

 

 

A confirmation box will appear, click Yes.

 

 

Another prompt will appear.

 

When moving the student within your building: Click Yes. 

When transferring a student to another school in our district: Click No.

 

Selecting “Yes” will delete all existing grades for that student.

Selecting “No” will retain existing grades with the student record. 

 

The student will be removed from the class.

 

 

*** Schools who have Art, PE, and Music classes:

Those class lists will need to be changed separately. ***

 

 

Editing Art, PE, & Music

 

 

 


When selecting a class to edit art, PE or music the subject teacher will be listed: NOT the classroom teacher.  The section column will indicate which classroom teacher the students belong to.
