Adjusting the SmartBoard/Speaker Volume

If you find that your speaker hums or buzzes or you get no sound at all, please follow these steps to adjust the volume. There are three components: the speaker, the projector and the computer.

First use the remote to turn the volume down just slightly on the speaker. If the speaker volume is turned up to the maximum volume you will get feedback.

Next, the projector must be powered on – the projector must be turned on to get sound via the speaker. On the projector – adjust the volume by pressing the right/left arrow buttons, as shown above.

At this point test your volume – if you do not get sound – continue onto the next steps.
